Who is the author of the Torah? How can we know for sure? 502-1 - 1 - 6

Who is the author of the Torah? How can we know for sure? We know for sure because Jesus said so! And that's god enough for me!

John 5: 45 “But do not think I will accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses, on whom your hopes are set. 46 If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. 47 But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?”

The scarlet thread started in Genesis 3:15, “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

After the Resurrection Jesus and two believers had the famous “The Walk to Emmaus.” In Luke 24:25-27, we are told “Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.”

Later the two asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?” Luke 24:32.
What a privilege it would be, to have Jesus actual “open the Scriptures” to us in person. Well someday in the near future perhaps we will.
