What would be your response to someone who states that ALL religions are human creations? How would you refute this from scripture? I601 - Session 03 - 4

I would agree in part as the founders of the world religions died and were buried and remained in their graves with one exception. Our Lord and Savior Jesus was crucified, buried and arose three days later. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” In addition, several of these religions have strange doctrines. The Hindus believe in numerous gods. Islam has distorted the word of God in so many ways. In fact in the Jesus mentioned in the Quran would be likened to the false prophet of Revelation.

The Mormons claim that Jesus is the brother of Lucifer. John 1:29, “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” Jesus is The Lamb of God, not the brother of Lucifer!

The book of Genesis with the creation of the world in six days seems to be as major stumbling block to many. To quote Dr. Missler, there are only two world views. Either everything is a result of a cosmic accident or the deliberate result of a Creator. Also Dr. Missler often says the Bible is an integrated collection of 66 books written by more than 40 authors. There are hundreds of prophecies in the Bible fulfilled exactly. Due to the uniqueness of the words etc. used in the Gospels it appears that each of the Gospels was written after the other three Gospels were written.

The heptadic structure is found throughout the Bible. Many things are encoded in the text of the Bible, for example, Genesis 1:29, “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed…” Genesis contains the names of nearly 30 trees encoded in its text. The Bible is unique in so many ways that to think it is not God inspired demonstrates either being in a state of denial or just not doing any research.

Another stumbling block to unbelievers is Jesus as the only way to salvation. Jesus wrote to the “dead” church in Sardis, “Revelation 3:20, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him.” [KJV] Jesus did it all, John 19:30, “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” [KJV] I often refer unbelievers to this website: http://mb-soft.com/believe/txh/proph.htm which list Prophecies that Jesus Christ Fulfilled. John 14:6, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." [KJV].
