Is President Donald Trump God’s Modern-day Cyrus? God’s Jehu?

In 2016 there was a tremendous groundswell of Christians not only in the United States but in Israel praying for Trump to be victorious. Prayer meetings were held often through the night before the election. Donald Trump was elected President of the United States (POTUS), however, Obama still had two months to cause damage both to our country and to Israel.

Was King Cyrus a type of Donald Trump? Centuries before the birth of Jesus and more than a hundred years before King Cyrus matched into Babylon God dictated a letter to him through the prophet Isaiah. Isaiah 44:28, “That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.”

Also, as prophesied, Cyrus’ military was unopposed, Isaiah 45:1, “Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;”

Unlike Cyrus, Trump met with great opposition, opposition from Liberals, from Obama and his minions, a bias and often lying mainstream media, the Elicits both from without and within his own party and the Globalists.

Like Cyrus who had already conquered most of the known world, Trump is/ was a very successful businessman. Cyrus encouraged the Israelites to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple. Rebuilding the temple didn’t go smoothly as a wall was needed. Israel was finally given permission to rebuild the wall leading to one of the greatest prophecies of all time. Daniel 9:25, “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.” A subject for another time.

The hand of God was involved in the selection of Cyrus to free the Israeli and help them to return to Israel. What is the likelihood that the hand of God was in the election of Donald Trump in 2016? Was the imperfect Donald Trump raised up “For such time as this?” I certainly think so.

Now four years and the 2018 mid-term election later, where are we? Today we have a POTUS of the type of Jehu the Warrior. Jehu helped to cleanse Israel of Idol worship, 2 Kings 10:28, “Thus Jehu destroyed Baal out of Israel.” President Trump has taken a stand for Christianity. He has moved our Embassy to Jerusalem rather than kicking the can down the road like pass POTUS.

President Trump has delivered on many campaign promised and we now have a more conservative Supreme Court. President Trump has been a friend to Israel and is prolife.

 

As an aside, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn’s 2017 “The Paradigm: The Ancient Blueprint That Holds the Mystery of Our Times” is quite a read. Again, very relevant to 21st Century America.

In  my opinion, a Biden/ Harris administration will spell the end of America as it was and could be. God raised up Donald Trump as a sort of King Cyrus/ Jehu to provide one last chance for our country to turn around. God willing President Trump will be re-elected 11/3/2020.

Moving to the Church Age, God has several names of God including:

YHVH-Yireh — "YEHOVAH will provide"

YHVH-Rapha — "Yahweh that healed"

YHVH-Niss"i — "YEHOVAH our Banner"

YHVH-Shalom — "YEHOVAH our Peace"

YHVH-Ra-ah — "YEHOVAH is the Way, my Shepherd"

In the Seven Letters to the Churches in the Book of Revelation Jesus has a unique name related to each church. Each church represents a period in church history; however, all are applicable to the churches of today.

Church         The name of Jesus

Ephesus      “He that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden lampstands”

Smyrna       “The first and the last, which was dead, and is alive”

Pergamos   “He which hath the sharp sword with two edges 

Thyatira     “The Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass” 

Sardis        “He that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.” 

Philadelphia   “He that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth”

Laodiceans   “The Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God”

Again, the seven churches represent the church through the ages. Starting with the church of Ephesus which was the apostolic church through the church of Laodicea, the lukewarm church which pretty much sums up we’re were at today.

The church of Ephesus had gotten so involved in doctrine that “thou hast left thy first love.”

The church of Smyrna, the persecuted church. There was such great persecution of the early Christians  that they were actually used as torches to light the pathways in the court of Nero.

The Church of Pergamos was the marriage between Christians and the pagan worship.  

That church of Thyatira  represented the medieval church that had that woman Jezebel, shades of the Inquisition.

The Church of Sardis was the dead church as the  incompletion of the Reformation.

The church of Philadelphia is what we the Lord would that we all were, the missionary church. This is what we all should be about, witnesses for Lord Jesus as the time is short. If you listen carefully you can almost hear the beating of the horses’ hoofs.

Off and on, well more on than off, I've been on a 3 day binge of watching the DVD's I received from Prophecy Watchers from their October 2019 Watchers Conference dealing with "Encouraging one another as you see the day approaching."

As for what the day is, is it the "Day of the Lord" referred to 29 times in the KJV of the Bible in both the old and New Testament? Thankfully the believing Church (capital C) will be caught up before that terrible time.

I believe the 2016 election of Donald Trump was a chance to get it right.

506-1-2-5 Re: Deuteronomy 3:25,26. Remembering a time when the Lord told me to stop asking for something and what I learned from this

Deuteronomy 3:25-26, “25 I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon. 26 But the LORD was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the LORD said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter."

Last fall I had a comeuppance from God while at my summer home in northeastern Arizona. I often say that in addition to the certainty of death and taxes is the wind in Arizona. The wind was blowing at 20 plus miles per hour with gusts. I was driving the nearly 30 miles to town to the post office and to refill propane tanks.

I often talk to God when I'm driving and perhaps I was being just a little bit too familiar. I was asking him to help me get over something I was feeling bitter about that dealt with him.

 1. For months friends and I had prayed that my left eye would be healed after cataract surgery. Rather than healing my eye directly God sent me to a very skilled surgeon with the result of a successful partial cornea transplant surgery. A few months later I had both cataract and partial cornea transplant on the right eye. However, my bitterness was that I possibly further harmed my left eye by waiting several months for God to act.

 2. I had recently been told my very good friend and Bible teacher had a stroke and fell and broke her hip. Within minutes the EMTs were there and wanted to take her to the hospital. She refused to go and was declared competent. Hours later she finally agreed to go to the hospital, sadly after she most likely loss more function due to time wasted. Was she so deep in the belief that God would heal her brain and hip that she refused immediate medical assistance? I suspect so.

So back to my complaining to God. I barely got the words out of my mouth when I was slammed by a very powerful gust of wind and I was barely able to keep control over my van. Oops.

This experience brought to mind Job Chapter 38”

Job 38:1  Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, 

Job 38:2  Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? 

It could have been worse, the Israelis murmured and had to spend another 38 years in the wilderness. We have a merciful God. But no more murmuring on my part.

Rapid advancements an electronic gizmos, Aid or hindrance to the OWG?

I am most definitely am an Electronics geek and my latest toy is a Samsung S6 tablet. I was posting on social network the trials and tribulations in getting it going and I thought how appropriate for today's mass communication. A leading to a cashless society and no buying and/ or selling without the Mark?

But I digress, here is the actual post:

I finally worked up the courage to inset the 512 gigabyte mini SD card into my new S6 tablet. No problem with the tablet recognizing the increase storage so I finally called up Verizon to get internet service transferred from the S3 tablet to the S6 tablet.

I asked, by the way what does it mean when it says the SIM card is missing. The people at tech support were very patient and understanding. We were trying to determine where the SIM card went. The tech person was looking at a schematic that didn't match my tablet. Finally and for about the fourth time I opened the expansion card slot. Actually there's two cards there, one is the 128g GB card provided by Verizon and the other is the 512gb that I installed. I made the comment that the 128 card says Sim on it. It finally dawned on me that is where the SIM card goes.

So one very small compartment on the tablet has two mini memory cards and the tiny 128 card has a little bitty space to slip the little itty bitty SIM card into, about the size of the fingernail on my little finger.
I've looked through all the packaging and I couldn't find the SIM card so they're sending me another one Monday.

Later I tried to make a phone call only to find out that it was deactivated by mistake, likely mine. Service was quickly restored, a blond thing?

It's nearly four decades since I bought my first Sinclair 1 kilobyte computer that I could hook up to my TV and write I think three lines of Basic and run the greeting of the day through an endless loop. Then a Commodore 64 and after that a 30-pound Compaq lunchbox computer, later a windows  computer  that I had to keep shuffling  the firmware in because of interrupt problems  and then on to a series of laptops and tablets including Kindle readers.

Through it all, progress is wonderful. Still being a bit of a prepper, I have a few small electronic gizmos and a solar activated charger in Faraday bags just in case of either an EMP or a solar event.

BIB535-1 - 14 - 8 Revisited “How do we know for certain that the prophecies of the Old Testament were documented several centuries before the New Testament period?”

A subject near and dear to my heart is the inerrancy of the Bible as the Word of God. Not all prophecies in the Old Testament that were fulfilled concerned the coming of Jesus but many were so I would like to use these as proof. I think the earliest time I wrote on the subject was in September 2012 when answering the question, “What OT "arrows" do you have in your quiver when it comes to proving that Jesus is the Jewish Messiah -- the Christ?”

In short, the hundreds of prophecies in the Old Testament that were fulfilled by Jesus in the New Testament are the "arrows" in the Christian's quiver when it comes to proving that Jesus is the Jewish Messiah. Starting with Genesis and the seed of the woman through the birth and crucifixion of Jesus we can follow the Scarlet thread throughout the Bible. One of the most unique episodes in the Bible is how God got around the blood curse that He had declared on Jehoiakim and Jeconiah originating from King David through his son Solomon. Actually Joseph, the stepfather of Jesus, came through the line from King David’s son Solomon. The Messiah had to come through the line of King David. To get around the blood curse and to fulfill Jesus coming from the “From the seed of a woman” Jesus came through King David’s son Nathan down through Mary's father to Mary herself.

Last year we lost a great Bible teacher in Chuck Missler’s passing. Chuck left hundreds of teachings most of which I have downloaded and learned so much from. It isn’t just Books of the Bible that Chuck would teach on. Others teaching such as his "The Footprints of the Messiah" prove statistically that Jesus was/is the Messiah. 

Those who say that Jesus never claimed that he was the Messiah should read Luke 4:17-21 when Jesus read from Isaiah Chapter 61, Jesus stopped at  a comma just before, “to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God.” When Jesus stepped out of eternity to be born a wee bade he came as the suffering Messiah but at the second coming will return as the lion of Judah.

Jesus being the suffering Messiah was foretold in Numbers 21:8-9 “The Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.” So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived.” Using a bronze snake to cure those who had been snake bitten would have been very confusing at the time. This was later understood through John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Jesus had to be lifted up on a cross to cover our sins. Jesus is the stone that turns into a mountain and topples the statue in Nebuchadnezzar's Dream.

One of the most amazing prophecies in the Old Testament was given to Daniel by the angel Gabriel. Itas actuate to the day when Jesus would ride into Jerusalem. With all the fulfilled prophecies, how can people not believe in Jesus as the Messiah.

Luke 17:42 “Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.” So perhaps the Jews of today have some defense as their ancestors didn’t know the time of their visitation, but what of the unbelieving Gentiles.

So many prophecies fulfilled by Jesus, yes, the Bible is the in inerrant Word of God.

Eye surgeries are behind me and I'm gearing up to start posting. The whole eye saga started June of last year after cataract surgery. Through it all God was/ is great.

The Saga of my eye problems continues. The five milliliter bottle of eye drops I picked up last week would have cost $41 without insurance and $24.00 with insurance. I gladly paid the $24.00 because it's impossible to put a price on your eyes. Today I had a chance to go back to Walmart in Show Low so I ordered in the one refilled Allowed by the doctor. Keep in mind that the round trip from Antelope Valley to Show Low is at least a hundred and fifty miles. I had received a computer generated message saying my script was ready but when I went in today it was not ready. There was a question of insurance. AARP will not contribute to the $41 until the 16th of the month. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out better to pay the full amount then try to get back to Show Low on the 16th. So of course I paid the full $41 and I'm not a happy camper with AARP. That said, eyesight, priceless.

The continuing Saga of my left eye after cataract surgery four months ago. My complications are caused by a hereditary disease, Fuchs' endothelial dystrophy.
I wonder how much of my mother's nearly zero vision was caused by the same disease as she was using the same eye drops that I do to try to dry out the cornea. I remember mother often telling me that it was like trying to see through a sheer curtain. 
In addition to many people praying for me, I'm getting excellent care at Dulaney Eye Clinic. My latest eye check-up was yesterday and the vision in my left eye was improved but likely due to the fact that I was on steroid eye drops for the last 3 weeks. The doctor thinks my vision is good as it'll get without surgery. Fortunately I can still drive, read and use the computer, however, I want clear vision. So I'll most likely a partial cornea transplant in the near future.

Fuchs' endothelial dystrophy.
"The endothelium keeps the cornea clear for good vision by pumping out excess fluid that could cause corneal swelling. Also called Fuchs' corneal dystrophy and Fuchs' endothelial dystrophy, the disease usually affects both eyes and causes a gradual decline in vision due to corneal edema (swelling) and clouding."

As this hereditary, family please followup with your eye doctors. Jan Stevenson, Robert Stevenson, Bruce Scot Wyman and all the Wymans, Donny Simpson and any one I missed.

The continuing Saga of my left eye. Yesterday my doctor evaluated my eye one week post-op. Most of the graft between the donor cornea and the remainder of my cornea had adhered but there was still a small area that hadn't. This isn't all that unusual and necessitated another air bubble being injected into my eye. So now I'm back to laying on my back most of the day and of course continuing my eye drop regiment. I have another appointment in 2 weeks to see the eye doctor so in the meanwhile I'll be at my friend's home in Phoenix. Bob has been a godsend for me and I will forever be grateful to him for his care and caring for me.
Again thanks to everyone for your prayers. Even with all the recovery time required, I count myself blessed when I compare today's advances compared to when my mother was losing her eyesight. Once I'm back on the computer I will research Fuch's as I'm concerned for family members as Fuch's is a hereditary condition.

The continuing saga of my left eye.
Two weeks ago the donor tissue had not totally fused with my remaining cornea tissue so the eye was aired up again as an assist to hold the tissues together. Yesterday there was complete adherence of both tissues which is very good news. Actually, when I remove my glasses I can see better with the left eye then with the right eye. It is three weeks since the partial partial cornea transplant and I'm delighted with the results. The fuzziness in my vision is gone. Next month the stitches will be removed. Except for using special eyedrops for the foreseeable future and routine checkups, my left eye is a ok. Corrective glasses will always be required but not a problem.

I originally planned to wait about a year before cataract surgery on my right eye but we've moved it up to this fall. There are some kind of cells in the eye that would predict whether or not we could expect the same outcome with my right eye after cataract surgery. The cells are virtually non-existent in my right eye with possibly one little cell holding out. Fuch's dystrophy combined with cataract surgery on my right eye is expected to necessitate another partial cornea transplant after removal of the Cataract. So this fall I will have one surgery wherein both the Cataract is removed and a partial cornea transplant will be performed.

My friend Bob has been a godsend and has already committed to taking care of me after my surgery this fall. I am so blessed to have such a good friend and also to have been lead to great Medical Care. Apparently this surgery was not readily available until several years ago.

Thanks again for all the prayers that have been said for me. God answered prayers in many ways, some with immediate and complete healing. In my case it was a more involved answer providing great medical innovation and care while recovering.

In the continuing ( concluding) Saga of my left eye, the stitches come out on the 19th of this month. 
I'm now scheduled for cataract surgery and a partial cornea transplant on my right eye the 21st of May. 
On the 10th of May I have my pre-op physical check-up and signing of all necessary paperwork. I'll be driving to Goodyear and back in the same day and then start seriously packing for my summer in northeastern Arizona. 
I'll leave for Bob's a day or two before my surgery is scheduled and he will take care of me again getting me to and from surgery and my follow-up appointments and generally taking care of me. What a terrific person and did I add, a super cook.
God certainly does put the right people in my life at the right time. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. And again, prayers are very much appreciated.

Fast forward to September, 2019, a good report from my eye doctor. Thank the Lord for directing me to a great surgeon  and for medical technocal advances.
