As a polio survivor with a crippled hand and arm, perhaps some computer interface would provide me with better dexterity. Also I have a family history of macular degeneration and added to that I’m a blue-eyed blond. As a result I am a prime candidate for losing most of my vision in my later years. There is some work being done in Israel with micro-chips that can be inserted into the eye to assist with vision. There are so many things that either gene therapy or computer augmentation could do to improve the human condition. The big however is that we are opening Pandora’s Box. We surely are in the end days prophesied when there would be an explosion of knowledge. Technology is advancing so fast but what of the moral condition of humans?

The possibility of genetic targeting weapons has been suggested. These would be viruses/diseases that would home in on a certain human genome. Jeremiah 50:9 talks to arrows that do not return in vain. The arrows reach their target through build-in intelligence and not through the archer. Very likely the military would like to have the Ultimate super warrior equipped with bionic parts.
Several years ago Ray Kurzuek authored a book titled “The Singularity is Near;” the movie version will be released this summer in time for December 21, 2012. The singularity is that point when the computer capability exceeded that of the human brain.
A few years ago I read about Nanotechnologies, Molecule-sized machines, in the book “Shadow Government…” by Grant Jeffrey. It just seems so far-fetched that I wrote it off as mostly conspiracy theory. Mr. Jeffrey wrote about these nanos as being almost like dust that could be blown on a person and later used home in on. Mr. Jeffrey was considered one of the leading Bible prophecy experts, sadly he recently passed away. (2)

So what do I theorize that God would say about all of this “running to and fro?” Of course the tower of Babel comes to mind, Genesis 1:6-7” And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.” And then there is Romans 1:18 to the end of the chapter that really details what happens to those who would corrupt His creation or take credit for it.

How does Einstein's Theory of Relativity impact our understanding of immortality? 502-1-7-7
Einstein’s theory of relativity was very revolutionary to a world used to thinking in terms time as an absolute and the existence of three dimensions only. Paul made an allusion to the existence of a fourth dimension in Ephesians 3:18, “May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;”

An often quoted and decades old example would be a person standing at a railroad station and watching a train as it goes by. He would observe the speed of somebody walking in a rail car as the sum of the speed of the train plus the speed at which the observed person is walking, it is all relative. In his Theory of General Relativity Einstein states that there is no distinction between time and space.
Actually we live in a world of four knowable dimensions and an addition six dimensions that are not knowable. From the Scientific American, June 2005, p.57-63, Three-dimensional (is a) “shadows” of a larger reality.” Long before I became interested in Einstein and his Theory of Relativity in high school, I knew I had an immoral soul. Perhaps this was due in part to nearly drowning at a very early age.
It is fascinating to read the comments being made by some of our top scientists. To paraphrase from Dr. Missler’s current Genesis teaching, Frank Tipler is a professor of mathematics at a major university and a professed atheist. He came to two conclusions. He discovered proof of the existence of God. He also now believes that every human being who ever lived will be resurrected from the dead.
However Stephen Hawking states “Our picture of the universe has changed a great deal in the last 40 years and I am happy to have made a small contribution. . . . The fact that we humans who are ourselves mere collections of fundamental particles of nature have been able to come this close to an understanding of the laws governing us and our universe is a great triumph.” No place for a personal God in Dr. hawking’s world. The long time and well known atheist. Richard Dawkins now refers to God as “the embodiment of the laws of physics.”

As Paul says in Ephesians 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” [KJV]
In my opinion, and likely in the opinion of many others, both the Quran and the book of Mormon had the same author, that old serpent Satan. The “prophet” Joseph incorporated many of the occultist practices of Masonic rites into Mormonism. Not many in the Mormon faith reach the pinnacle of godhood. After washing the ”More than Human” teaching I’m reminded of the concept of GenRich verses the Naturals.
After 9/11 I really started to educate myself with respect to the Islamic faith. It seems Mohammed was quite devote in his early years and spent a lot of time meditating in a cave. After his first “revelation” he ran to his wife saying he thought it was a jinni. Unfortunately his wife had the opposite opinion and encouraged Mohammed. The rest is very, very bloody history.
While originated by the same author it is interesting that the doctrines seem to be polar opposites. One so-called religion wants to create an elite group of gods and goddesses. The other wants to be totally submissive to a capricious God.

I would agree in part as the founders of the world religions died and were buried and remained in their graves with one exception. Our Lord and Savior Jesus was crucified, buried and arose three days later. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” In addition, several of these religions have strange doctrines. The Hindus believe in numerous gods. Islam has distorted the word of God in so many ways. In fact in the Jesus mentioned in the Quran would be likened to the false prophet of Revelation.

Another stumbling block to unbelievers is Jesus as the only way to salvation. I am in awe of the indisputable proof of design in this planet we call home. Statically we are unique and blessed to have our God designed home. Given what an awesome planet Earth is, one can only imagine the home Jesus has been working on for us these nearly two thousand years. 2 Corinthians 4:18 “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

How do your views regarding evolution impact your reading of the Bible? 502-1 - 06-7
I would like to rephrase this Discussion Question to how does reading the Bible impact my views of evolution. The Word starts out “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1.1 [KJV] Now that is good enough for me. Other than adaptation within a species, the evolution of one species into another is the stuff of science fiction. Full disclosure, as an undergraduate student I became interested in anthropology. I remember writing a report on the descent of man and, being a little artistic, did a drawing of the evolution of man from ape for the cover. Like so many college graduates my early view of God was temporarily somewhat undermined.In addition to Genesis I am taking 1601 Intro to Strategic Trend Briefings. Required materials for the course include "DNA by Design" (Intelligent Design) and "More Than Human" (Transhumanism).

According to Paul Davies “It seems as though somebody has fine-tuned nature’s number to make the Universe… The impression of design is overwhelming.” Mr. Davis is countered by Carl Sagan who basically calls our Earth a blue dot lost in a comic sea. Shakespeare might reply to Dr. Sagan, “There are more things In heaven and earth, Horatlo, Than are dreamt of In your philosophy."The universe is so vast that it seems rather intuitive that there would be complex life other than on planet earth, that indeed we occupy just a small blue dot in one of the numerous galaxies. However, we on earth are truly blessed as we do indeed live on the very unique Goldilocks planet. Truly “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.” Psalm 19:1 [KJV] That said, God has not only provided us with a unique home, He has given us a front sear from which to observe our universe.

Why does mankind insist on finding a reason for the miracle of life other than by the Word of God? I’ve long thought it had to do with man not wanting to be responsible to a Creator God. If one is a creation of God than one is accountable to God. Therefore one would break the Word of God at the jeopardy of his/her soul. Also, man keeps trying to reject our God-given unique place in the universe while holding to the contrary belief that that we can do it ourselves. Satan is the father of lies and of confusion. So does mankind believe in the theory of evolution due to confusion from Satan after the Fall or is it because we really believe that we come from some primordial ooze? Do people really think that “we come from ooze by way of the zoo?”
Once again I digress. So quoting Chuck Missler, Three Fallacies of “Evolution” include:
• The violations of the Entropy Law (The Second Law of Thermodynamics):
• Critical System Interdependencies essential for survival;
• The use of digital languages.
Entropy dictates that things go from a state of being organized to one of randomness. The watch example is great as is the possibility of a tornado ripping through a junkyard creating a Boeing 747 aircraft. Perhaps another example of entropy would be the disintegration of music into hard metal. Also by the second law of thermodynamics the amount of energy input is greater than the output: the universe is running downhill. The period of time of the greatest reversal of entropy was during the creation and will be again when Jesus returns to earth to rule.
Systems just plain depend on each other. Just as “no man is an island unto himself” no form of life sustains itself by itself. Man and animals breathe in oxygen and expel carbon dioxide which plants use and in turn give off oxygen. The Golden Plover flies further than would be possible given the amount of food (fuel) can carry in their body. So these unique birds fly in formation allowing some be helped by the drag of the lead birds. During the long trip the birds will share taking the lead, a great example of interdependencies.
As for The use of digital languages, here I will again quote from Dr. Missler:
Digital (Symbolic) Codes
• Digital Codes derive their meaning from arbitrary but consistent definitions (semantics).
• Digital codes are dependent upon their context (syntax).
• Digital codes evidence design.
My knowledge of digital codes is rather limited. Years ago I had a thorough introduction to Boolean algebra. Most of what I remember is that something is either off or it was on it, the value is either 1 or 0 and it was either yes or no. I am blown away by the concept that we live in a universe that incorporates digital languages/codes. Once again I am left awestruck by the astounding God we serve.

Yes I will accept the Issachar Challenge! I always like a challenge and this is shaping up to be one. I likely jumped into this course before I’m really prepared for it; however, like the camel, my nose is under the tent flap.I study the Word of God whenever I can get a Selah Moment. I’ve been helping to care for my elderly mom in California since the first of the year. It seems like a life-time away from my Arizona church family. I often say that here I am in California, the land of Atheists, Agnostics, New Agers and Catholics.
My mom converted to the Catholic Church about 10 years ago I think mostly because most of her friends were Catholics. I didn’t think too much about the Catholic Church all these years until here I am surrounded by them. I’ve attended church with mom a few times out of family duty. The last time was Christmas Eve day; the church has a capacity of 1400 and holds several services each week. As I looked around at all the hundreds of adults and innocent children I felt a great sense of sadness. The priest would say something and the people would repeat their canned replies.
So here I am in a crash course on Catholic doctrine and what an education I’m getting. The church is a money making organization that holds one’s soul for ransom, at least in my opinion. That said I’ll give them credit for taking a stand against same sex marriage and abortions. And that said, in my opinion and in agreement with Dave Hunt, the Roman Catholic Church will be “The woman who Rides the Beast” of Revelation taking millions into the Tribulation.
I will attempt to become an expert in the specific surveillance area of the Global/Ecumenical Religion with a complement of The Struggle for Jerusalem. There is a group called “Evangelicals and Catholics Together;” just warms the heart after hundreds of thousands were killed as a result of the Grand Inquisition. Interestingly, the Grand Inquisitor didn't pronounce sentence, but handed over convicted heretics to secular authorities. Shades of Revelation 17:2.
And then there is Chrislam promoted by religious leaders. What part of Genesis 12:3 has the world forgotten?

Here in California there is so much light pollution that I have to draw on my memories of being in the mountains. · I do seem to be in the right place at the right time. I was able to witness to millions via the NBC Today Show 30 years ago.
· Years ago and during my questioning years I played around the edges of the New Age and later spent two years at night school in a “New Thought” seminary and was ordained. How could this be spiritual gifts? I have learned to be very discerning and more able to resist the lies of the devil so persuasively expressed by the Global/Ecumenical Religion movement. I seem to sense patterns in events when I’m in a quiet reflective situation, very much not the case in my present life situation
Much as I love my family I can understand Jesus’ saying, Matthew 12:47-49 - King James Version (KJV) “47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. 48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? 49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!”

(1) Blog posting 3/16/2011 “Earthquakes, A Pattern?”
On March 11 I posted on a forum that FOXNEWS just provided the link I've been following since the 2010 Easter Day earthquake. Now on the 16th once again I seem to be ahead of FOXNEWS with respect to the lead up to the 8.9 magnitude earthquake as they are now discussing it. I don't have any supernatural insight, only of opening my eyes. There were many, many earthquakes of 4.5 magnitude and above before the 8.9, a pattern? Earlier this year I noted that there were about 100 earthquakes in the BONIN ISLANDS, JAPAN REGION in about a 48 hour period.

I’ve long argued that given the speed of light visitors traveling to earth was very unlikely. With the exception of our sun, the nearest star is more than four light years away. I added that what some call ETs are likely a bleed-through from another dimension. I’ve updated my bleed-through theory to be more Bionically correct.
We are told in Genesis 6:4 “The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of the human beings and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.” Legends of the offspring’s of these unholy unions are told throughout the planet and cultures.“This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.” Genesis 6:9 Although Moses’ blood-line was not tainted by the Nephilim I suspect that the blood of his wife and/or daughters-in-law was/were tainted as there were Nephilim after the flood.
References are made to the Rephaites in Genesis 14. And in Numbers 13:33 are more references, “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” There are additional references in the Old Testament, enough to prove that they were still around after the flood.
In addition to creating hybrids I believe that the fallen angles manipulated human DNA as evidence by the strange gods of Egypt, a head of falcon, a head of a cow, a head of a lion and many others. God struck the Egyptians with plagues specific to the various gods.

The Edomites were just one more of the “ites” who have involved Israel is so many conflicts over the eons. Their history reads like a soap opera. The hatred of the ites goes back to the time of Abraham. Abraham and Sarah tired of waiting for their son of promise Isaac so Abraham had a son Ishmael by a bondwoman. Isaac was told to be separate from the pagans; however, no such probation was placed on Ishmael. Ishmael was the elder son, however, Abraham’s covenant with God passed to Isaac.
Years later Isaac married Rebekah. When Rebekah was pregnant she had quite an experience, “And the LORD said unto her, two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.” Genesis 25:23. When her sons were born the elder son, Esau, came first with the younger son Jacob pulling on his brother’s heel, source of Jason’s name. Esau sold his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of porridge. Jacob and his mother plotted, likely with God’s approval, for Jacob to get his father’s blessing that would normally go to Esau as the oldest son. Abraham’s covenant passed to Jacob rather than to Esau. Esau married into Ishmael’s line and like Ishmael before him; Esau thought that he was robbed of his birthright.

As I started this answer with a “YES” the mailman knocked on the door to deliver DVDs I ordered from the Christian Book website including a title, “Gone,” The movie “Gone” deals with the Rapture and its aftermath on a small group of people who were “left behind.” The movie played loose with what is written in the Book of Revelation, however, the timing of the arrival of the DVD was interesting.I wake up in the morning still here on planet earth and feel a minute of sadness that Jesus didn’t come for us. Then I think, “Not my will, but Your will.”
Here I’m referring to Jesus coming in the air for His Church, and not His coming after the Tribulation. I am very excited and eager for the Blessed Hope, however, there are many who are in need of salvation. I’m hoping to bring more into the Kingdom while there is time by:
1. Praying for their salvation
2. Leaving “breadcrumbs “ on the Internet
3. Preparing flash drives of information for my children concerning the prophecies of the coming Messiah fulfilled by Jesus, proof of the Word and more
4. Use any opening to mention that it is time to be “right with God"
5. Read websites such as “Raptureready” daily and refer to them in chat room posts
6. Check websites for latest information concerning weather, earthquakes, volcanos, political issues and more
7. Follow information posted by KI such as K-Rations
As for me, I try to lead a life worthy of being caught up when Jesus comes for His bride. I wish I deserved to be qualified like Paul to write, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day —and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8.

To those who bow down at the altar of evolution we are no more than an accident and life has little value. So kill the unborn and those people who are burdens to society. When I was taking BIB501-1, week 2, I decided to create a Discussion Question #8 on the question of a young earth. I consider what I wrote several months ago to be relevant today. To me a young earth goes hand in hand with Creation. If you have a young earth than it follows that life has also been around for a short time. And I quote my earlier DQ:
"Was there really a Big Bang from nothing to something? Is the Universe really 16 billion years old? Did our ancestors really swing through the trees? Did we really evolve from some primordial soup? Does the universe tend towards negative entropy as would be evidenced by lower forms of life evolving into higher forms violating the second law of thermodynamics? Is the fossil record that depends on the Geologic time scale correct? But does not the fossil record allow geologists to date and compare rocks across geological time?
Sounds like Circular Reasoning:
Strata are dated by the fossils

The DVD collection By Dr. Dino includes “The Age of the Earth”, “The Garden of Eden” and more. There are images of petrified trees standing upright through geological strata. Why the resistance to Creation? If the universe was created then there would be a Creator to whom we would be accountable. I believe the universe was created by God as described in the Bible. Why are classical scientists shocked at the findings of quantum physics? How do they impact our own perspectives? 502-1 - 3 - 3.
I’m reminded of the story of the 100th monkey. Monkeys on one island were being given sweet potatoes dropped on the sand and then observed for a number of years. One day an enterprising monkey rinsed her sweet potato in the ocean and found that it tasted better. Soon other monkeys on the island followed suit and had clean salty sweet potatoes. After a critical number of the monkeys on that island started rinsing their sweet potatoes in the ocean monkeys on other islands started rinsing their sweet potatoes as well. There was no communication between the monkeys on different island.So monkeys or physical quanta having no locality that seem to know what their kind is doing, six of one or... I remember reading years ago about these tiny discrete units that seemed to be influenced by the act of being observed and I felt like Alice in Wonderland, “Very interesting.”
Niels Bohr said, "Anyone who is not shocked by quantum theory has not understood it." Scientists who were so used to order in the universe were discombobulated by this turn of events. Add to that there is a limit to how small something can be and how to measure something that has no locality. Believe me I can remember my college days and working with predicable and measurable material/ reactions. So much tension would cause metal to start to flow and then to break. The solid and measurable stuff the world is made of, how very comforting.
I’ll admit that I don’t understand quantum mechanics and that I am in awe of it.
Now that I’m older I enjoy getting out of my comfort zone. I downloaded Dr. Missler’s beyond series of teachings. I surprised myself by being able to pretty much understand them but then Dr. Missler is a great teacher.
God is awesome and has created a universe that is so far beyond my understanding; however, someday perhaps I’ll be able to dance across the stars while singing praises to our God.

BIB 501-2 - Session 10 Discussion Questions -> 5. Who were the Nicolaitians? Why did Jesus HATE them? Is there anyone in our world today that may resemble them?
“Who were the Nicolaitians? Why did Jesus HATE them?” I could copy Matthew 23 here and be done with this part of the question. Verse 13 is just one indictment by Jesus, “But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.” And who can forget reading about Jesus’ righteous anger over His Father’s house being turned into a “den a thieves.” Jesus demonstrated total unpretentiousness when He washed the feet of His Disciples. The few times I was pressured into attending the local Catholic Church I thought about the comparison of the Master washing feet with the priest and his minions dressed in royal regalia.
One suggestion of the meaning of the Nicolaitians is "victors over the people or rulers over the world, a religious hierarchy that would control the spiritual development of the common people.” This was certainly the case in the Dark Ages when the Romans Catholic Church absolutely controld the laypeople. The common worshiper was not allowed to own a Bible and had to follow the dictates of the priests. Many who held to the gospel of the very early church died for their beliefs.
The Nicolaitians are alive and doing very well today. People in America are not tortured or executed for owning a Bible however their very soul is held ransom by the Catholic Church. Jesus’ death on the cross may save you; however, you have to add works to maintain your salvation. All are to go through a period of torment in purgatory unless….well when enough masses and indulgent have been paid for your soul is ransomed from this horrible place.
The only thing about Jesus in The Church of Jesus Church of the Latter Day Saints is in the name. Mormons have rather unusual beliefs and are works oriented. As I understand it candidates attend a seminar series to be allowed inside the Temple where he will “be learning secrets and gaining mysterious Priesthood powers.” Sounds like a MLM scam to me, the subject for another day.
Could the plan of salvation be any simpler than what Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
I sure understand and share Jesus’ feelings towards the Nicolaitians. My fear is that millions of people are being taught false doctrine that will likely take them through the wide gate.
One suggestion of the meaning of the Nicolaitians is "victors over the people or rulers over the world, a religious hierarchy that would control the spiritual development of the common people.” This was certainly the case in the Dark Ages when the Romans Catholic Church absolutely controld the laypeople. The common worshiper was not allowed to own a Bible and had to follow the dictates of the priests. Many who held to the gospel of the very early church died for their beliefs.
The Nicolaitians are alive and doing very well today. People in America are not tortured or executed for owning a Bible however their very soul is held ransom by the Catholic Church. Jesus’ death on the cross may save you; however, you have to add works to maintain your salvation. All are to go through a period of torment in purgatory unless….well when enough masses and indulgent have been paid for your soul is ransomed from this horrible place.
The only thing about Jesus in The Church of Jesus Church of the Latter Day Saints is in the name. Mormons have rather unusual beliefs and are works oriented. As I understand it candidates attend a seminar series to be allowed inside the Temple where he will “be learning secrets and gaining mysterious Priesthood powers.” Sounds like a MLM scam to me, the subject for another day.
