Sorry for the long absence but I had eye surgery four days ago and prior to that my vision while okay for driving was challenged by computer screen.

It seems I have a hereditary eye disease titled Fuch's dystrophy.  It involves a buildup of fluid under the cornea which can cause fuzzy vision. Normally it is kept under control by a product called Muro 128 eye drops. It's a salt solution that pulls the moisture out from under the cornea. Unfortunately, if the eyeball is harmed in any way such as by cataract surgery 8 months ago, the condition gets a little bit out of control. For the last eight months it's been an up-and-down roller-coaster ride with my vision improve in one month and then decreasing the next month. 4 days ago I had a partial cornea transplant and now my vision seems to be clearing. The left eye is still fuzzy but it's making a comeback. I've been very fortunate in that I have friends all over the planet who been praying for me as well as my church family. Doesn't get much better than that. By mid March I'll be back and posting. Thank you for being so patient with me.
