Show examples that prove that there is design within the Biblical text. 501-2 - 12 - 1.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” 2 Timothy 3:16. First, a little about prophecy, prophecy is history written in advance. According to the Encyclopedia of Biblical Prophecy by J. Barton Payne there are 8,352 verses in the Bible making over 1,800 predictions on over 737 separate matters.

The Old Testament, Hebrew Scriptures, was translated into Greek by 270 B.C. into the Septuagint. This refuted any claims that the prophetic books were written in advance. Daniel 9:25, “Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’ It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble.” Note the sevens and this prophecy was fulfilled to the day!

Back to design, to quote Dr. Missler, the Bible has an Integrated Design. “The New Testament is in the Old Testament concealed; The Old Testament is in the New Testament revealed.” Proverbs 25:2 “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings.” So as kings in the making it is our task to ferret out these hidden and awesome tidbits. However, our task is rather easy as there have been so many people researching Bible Codes that a wealth of information readily available.

1. Equidistant Letter Sequence

“The secrets of the Torah are revealed in the skipping of the letters” according to 16th century Rabbi Moses Cordevaro, Equidistant Letter Sequence is perhaps the simplest method. The Hebrew spelling of Torah is found in the Books of Genesis, Exodus, Numbers and Deuteronomy, all pointing towards Leviticus and YHWH (Yeshiva). The names of more than 20 trees are found in Genesis 2, Holocaust codes are found in Deuteronomy and Numbers plus Isaiah 53 has both the names of those present at the crucifixion as well as objects.

2. Genealogy

The meanings of the names in the genealogy found in Genesis 5 Adam, Seth, Enosh, Kenan ,Mahalalel, Jared, Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech and Noah tell the story of the Gospel. Man (is) Appointed Mortal Sorrow; (but) The Blessed God Shall come down Teaching His death shall bring The Despairing Comfort, Rest.

3. Numbers and Letters

The mathematical contacts pi and e can be determined from the words and letters in Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1 respectively. The Bible is absolutely loaded with sevens in its Heptadic structure. The genealogy of Jesus Christ found in Matthew 1:1-11, (in Greek) again has numerous sevens a very few of which are:
• The number of words must be divisible by 7, evenly.
• The number of letters must also be divisible by 7, evenly
• The number of vowels and the number of consonants must also be divisible by 7.
