The Moabite Stone and other artifacts that prove the validity the Bible 519-1 - 7 - 3

The following is an interest website detailing 40 pieces of evidence that prove the truth of the Bible.
“40 Archaeology FACTS that PROVE the BIBLE is TRUE!!”!
The Moabite Stone is one of the 40 items listed above. The stone is a block of black basalt found near Dibon, Jordan, in 1868. It was discovered by F.A. Klein, a German missionary who had heard rumors of this stone while visiting the area. It appears that the stone wasn't dug up for a year during purchasing negotiations.
As the story goes the stone was dug up by local Arabs who lit a fire around it and quenched it with cold water. This quenching facilitated breaking it into pieces.. These they distributed among themselves. Later the French successfully re-assembled the pieces preserving the inscription. The Moabite Stone is currently in the Louvre Museum in Paris.
The inscription on the Moabite Stone parallels passages found in the Bible. One such parallel is of Mesha, king of Moab, who was paying tribute to Israel and then stopped. King Mesha rebelled against the king of Israel. [2 Kings 3:5]  Chemosh, the deity of Moab, is mentioned in several places on the stone and also in the Bible.
An internet search for “biblical towns uncovered” turned up dozens of images. Excavation of towns in the holy land not only provide clues to how people live then, but also help to substantiate the Bible by confirming what is written in the Word.
Both Islam and Mormonism claim that the Bible has been corrupted by the many times manuscripts have been copied by hand. Not so as there are thousands of ancient manuscript available including the 32 foot scroll of the Book of Isaiah. Neither the Quran nor the book of Mormon can claim any such documentation. Unfortunately for Mormonism, the document that Joseph Smith claimed was the Book of Abraham turned out to be from an Egyptian book of the dead.
Care should be taken in the study of artifact, however, there are groups who either misuse artifacts to create doubt as to the validity of the Bible or to denigrate artifacts that appear to support the biblical narrative. For centuries there has been a search for Noah’s Ark. The latest claim of finding it was debunked by Snopes, however, I would like to know who evaluates the findings of Snopes.
Several years ago an ossuary box of bones was discovered and said to have the inscription Joseph, Mary and Jesus. If these were truly the bones of Jesus it would prove the resurrection false. The story was discredited, I’m sure much to the disappointment of unbelievers.
