What is the thread that connects the Church of Thyatira, the parable of the Woman and the Leaven (in Matthew 13) and Babylon?BIB 502-2-14-6

Matthew 13:33, “Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
Jesus started to speak in parables after the Nicolaitanes of the Temple accused Him of being demon processed. Two parables found in Matthew 13 are somewhat similar and yet are very different; the tares among the wheat and the leaven. In the case of the tares and the wheat they were left to grow together and at the harvest the tares were burnt and the wheat was saved. In this case sin (tares) was mixed with good (wheat); however, the wheat was salvageable. In the case of the leaven, the whole loaf was leavened or puffed up. Leaven is synonymous with sin.
Matthew 13:33 suggests that even a little sin will ruin the whole, rather like what is referred to today as zero-tolerance.
After the flood God commanded the people to go forth and replenish the earth. Instead the good citizens of Babel elected to stay in one area and built a temple mostly to read the skies. This could have been all well and good except that they were disobeying God plus they perverted the original Mazzaroth into astrology and soothsaying. The Babylonians renamed the constellations in the Mazzaroth to those of their pagan gods and goddess. Originally the Mazzaroth told the gospel story starting with the virgin holding a sheath of wheat to Leo the lion of Judah. God confounded the Universal speech of citizens of Babel to babble and they were dispersed throughout the earth. As an aside, as a supporter of “The Jewish Voice” I was given a Star of David pendant with a sheath of wheat.
Following the thread of sin from before the patriarchs to the writing of Revelation and the church at Thyatira we find a wealth of puffed up Nicolaitanes. Just as was the case with the simple gospel told in the Mazzaroth, the simple teachings of Jesus were hidden under layers of legalese. The church in Thyatira is synonymous with the medieval church better known as the Roman Catholic Church. Some, including myself, believe that the woman who rides the beast in Revelation is the Roman Catholic Church. One has only to attend a service at a Catholic church to realize how puffed up they are. The regalia worn by the clergy are very royal looking and nothing like the simple robe worn by Jesus. A friend of mine from Mexico commented that in small towns in Mexico you’ll see people living in shacks while there is a magnificent cathedral nearby.
“What Would Jesus Do?” Magnificent Cathedrals and royal robes, I think not!
