List three technology statements in the Bible. Use Jeremiah 50:9 as one of those statements.547-2 - 21-6

In his briefing “Technology & the Bible” Dr. Missler listed examples of current technology alluded to in the Bible including:

Weapons Technology:

“For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of a mighty expert man; none shall return in vain.” Jeremiah 50:9 (KJV)

This is basically a preview of the use of smart bombs. During Gulf One I was working for the McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company makers of the Apache helicopter. As the war started, the Apache immediately took out the Iraq radar thereby destroying any real resistance to our incoming aircraft. An even better equivalency would be the remotely controlled drones which are now being used by our government to actually kill US citizens who are considered terrorists, slippery slope.

A friend who is a bit of a conspiracy theorist was telling me about very small drones that actually are capable of firing bullets. These drones are feed facial recognition parameters and will seek out the person meeting those criteria. As soon as the drone has confirmation it takes that person out.

I've heard the expression that an aircraft has been painted or marked for destruction by a missile which will follow it until impact. The face of war is certainly changing rapidly and becoming very impersonal.

Weapons of mass destruction:

“And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.” Zechariah 14:12

Sounds like a good description of the effects of Thermonuclear bomb on a living person which leads us to “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened” Matthew 24:22

Circumcision/ Medical Hygiene:

“And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed. Genesis” 17:13

While circumcision may be a manifestation of a covenant between Jews and God, it makes sense medically. As I understand there is a lower incident of cervical cancer in women who husbands have been circumcised. Circumcision being done during the eighth day of a baby's life is optimum with respect to blood clotting.

Also listed In Dr. Missler’s briefing “Technology & the Bible” were:

• Pathways in the Sea Psalm 8:8; Isaiah 43:16
