When was the last time that you told Jesus that you love Him? List seven reasons that you do. BIB 547-2 - 19-6

As for the last time I told Jesus I love him, pretty much throughout the day; as I woke up this morning, several times throughout the day and now as I compose this.
 
When I read this discussion question I immediately thought of Elizabeth Barrett Browning's Sonnet "How Do I Love Thee." Likely she was writing to her husband Robert Browning. However and in my opinion most of the sonnet could have been written by the Church to Jesus.

"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being and ideal grace
I love thee to the level of every day's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light
I love thee freely, as men strive for right.
I love thee purely, as they turn from praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints. I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life; and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death."

So how do I love Jesus? Let me count the ways.
I love Jesus for his willingness to step out of eternity to become a propitiation for this fallen race.
I love Jesus for the gift of salvation He so freely gave me.
I love Jesus for the redemption that He gives me.
I love Jesus for filling the hole that would be in my soul without His love.
I love Jesus for his promise of my spending eternity in Heaven with Him.
